Feedback in Analog Circuits

This lecture is divided into three parts and focuses on feedback and its influence on analog circuit performance.  The topics include:

  • How to analyze positive and negative feedback loops
  • How to increase or decrease input or output resistance
  • How to influence the bandwidth of an amplifier
  • How to remove the nonlinearity and distortion of an amplifier
  • How feedback influences the poles and zeros of a circuit
  • How to determine stability
  • How to use feedback to make circuits have a desired performance that could otherwise not be achieved
